The game is a first-person shooting adventure that follows the steps of other games in the Far Cry series, featuring plenty of makeshift weapons, vehicles, companions, and even animals that will fight at your side. Without resources and prosecuted by the military forces under the control of the dictator, you will fight for freedom and to restore your country to its former glory, getting rid of the Castillo family one way or another. In Far Cry 6, you will play the role of a local Yaran named Dani Rojas, who is part of the guerrilla that opposes the dictator. But he is as determined as ruthless, and he will do whatever it takes to make his son follow his steps, even massacre the people of Yara. After being oppressed for years and now that the fascist dictator is getting older, a part of the citizens has organized a resistance movement that tries to overthrow Castillo before he can perpetuate his legacy of terror by choosing his son as a new governor. He is a ruthless dictator that governs with an iron hand the Caribbean island of Yara, a place that should be a tropical paradise but is more like hell on earth for its inhabitants.
